On October 7, 2010, American Maritime Safety Inc. presented Dann Marine Towing with the Maritime Safety Responsible Vessel Carrier Award, in recognition of Dann Marine Towing’s implementation of Safety Systems and Procedures that serve to promote safe vessel navigation and operation. Lou Meltz, President of AMS was quoted as saying; “Dann Marine Towing has demonstrated a strong commitment to protecting the marine environment, and have been proactive in implementing quality control programs that serve to improve marine safety and vessel operations. We are please to recognize this reputable organization for their efforts in working to protect our marine environment.”
